My first experiments with Samosa!

Samosa is a favourite Fast Food/Chat of South India. It is generally fried or baked triangular, half-moon, or tetrahedron-shaped pastry shell with a savory filling of spiced potatoes, onion, peas, coriander, lentils, or sometimes fresh paneer.

The extremely chilling weather of Memphis yesterday night facilitated and compelled Pradeep and me to devour something "Hot" and "Spicy" and we zeroed in on "Vegetable Samosa".

Generally,Pradeep and I love cooking and we keep experimenting with New Cuisines frequently.

Yesterday,I decided to prepare "Vegetable Samosa" from scratch at home. On surfing the net and bumping on some methods I found,I finally succeeded in preparing "Vegetable Samosa" at home from scratch!

Never in the wildest of my dreams had I speculated that "Preparing Samosas at home was that easy"!

We contently and triumph fully devoured the "Vegetable Samosa" with the usual side-dish - Green Chutney and Tamarind-Date Chutney!

All,I can say is it was "Worth the Effort "!! ;)

Pictures of Samosa prepared by me:
